My name is Ethan Morisette and I am a singer, guitarist, pianist, songwriter, and music producer that goes by the artist name of Blue Haven Music.

My Story

I have been writing and mixing songs for almost 15 years now. I wrote my first song on piano in 8th grade and performed it live for my piano recital. In high school, I was exposed to FL Studio and once I found out what it could do, I was instantly hooked. I spent hours and hours on writing different song ideas and experimenting with different ideas. 

I decided to go to college for Music Technology and I received my degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2017. I trained in piano, voice, and music theory. I also graduated with a degree in Computer Science. 

After working at an office for a couple of years, I decided to upgrade my music production skills by taking some online courses. First, I took Andrew Huang's music production class on learnmonthly.com. After that, I took a more in-depth course-path by enrolling in the Hybrid Musician pathway on Musician on a Mission (now known as Mastering.com). I have trained one-on-one in music production and mixing with professional mixer Dylan Pines.

Now, I'm focused on releasing new songs and licensing my music.
